Best Numbers Terms of Service

These terms govern use of the Best Numbers website and client portal. By using the website, submitting a request, creating a client account, uploading files, replying to tasks, or making a payment submission, you agree to use the portal responsibly and only for lawful business or personal accounting-related purposes.

Services

Best Numbers may provide accounting support, bookkeeping, QuickBooks support, payroll coordination, company formation support, cleanup books, tax planning support, nonprofit organization support, client communication, document requests, payment tracking, and related workflow services. Specific services, deliverables, timing, and pricing may be confirmed separately in an engagement letter, proposal, invoice, payment request, or written communication.

Portal Access

Best Numbers grants authorized users a limited, non-transferable right to use the portal for their own account, company, projects, files, payment records, and communications. Users are responsible for keeping their login secure and for notifying Best Numbers if they believe their account or email access has been compromised.

Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and timely information. This includes owner details, company information, bank and credit card records, payroll information, receipts, invoices, tax documents, and answers to project or task questions. Delays or inaccurate information may affect timelines, pricing, filings, reports, or service outcomes.

Files and Communications

The portal is intended to keep client updates, document requests, files, task replies, and project comments organized by client and project. Users should not upload unlawful, malicious, unrelated, or unnecessary files. Best Numbers may remove files or restrict access if needed for security, legal, or operational reasons.

QuickBooks and Third-Party Services

The portal may connect with QuickBooks Online or other third-party services when authorized by Best Numbers. It may also support payment workflows through third-party payment processors. Third-party services are governed by their own terms, privacy policies, security practices, fees, and availability.

Payments

Prices, deposits, balances, task charges, and payment requests may appear in the portal for client convenience. Payment status may be updated manually or through future processor integrations. A payment is not final until received and confirmed by Best Numbers or the applicable payment processor.

No Misuse

Users may not attempt to access another client's account, interfere with the website, reverse engineer the portal, upload harmful files, bypass security controls, or use the portal for unlawful, misleading, or abusive activity.

Availability and Changes

Best Numbers may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue parts of the website or portal. The portal may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, hosting issues, third-party service issues, or security updates.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Best Numbers is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the website, portal, third-party integrations, or delays caused by missing or inaccurate client information.
